Event tickets
Events tickets sold through this website are issued on behalf of UCD Students’ Union and are subject to the following Terms and Conditions:
Tickets cannot be exchanged, transferred, or resold for commercial gain.
Unless stated, tickets are non-refundable.
UCD Students’ Union and their representatives, and/or the venues, reserve the right to refuse admission, and may, on occasions conduct security searches.
Please check all your tickets on purchase, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
UCD Students’ Union reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of the whole or any part of events due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control without being obliged to refund or exchange tickets.
UCD Students’ Union cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to events.

Entry to all events is subject to Irish law.
These terms and conditions shall apply to all transactions conducted through this website. Read them before you place an order. Please note that in these terms and conditions "you", "your", "yours" and "yourself" are references to any person ordering tickets from the website, and "we", "our" and "ours" are references to us the website.
We may change these terms and conditions from time to time without notice. Any changes will apply to subsequent orders.
When placing an order for tickets you must make sure all details submitted are accurate to the best of your knowledge. If you submit erroneous details, then you may not receive the correct order at the correct email address.
When you place an order, you are offering to purchase tickets subject to these Terms and Conditions. We will not be bound to supply any tickets ordered until we have notified you of our acceptance of an order. We are entitled to reject an order, and if we do so we will inform you that we have rejected it and also the reason for rejecting it.
Tickets are sent as an order number in a confirmation email, which you must use as stated on the email. You must also show valid proof of ID to redeem entry into the event, or to collect physical tickets/wristbands from our nominated place of collection.
All tickets are advertised for sale subject to availability. In the event of us being unable to supply the tickets ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible. Where tickets are unavailable for any reason, we may propose to provide you with substitute tickets of equivalent quality and price. Should any tickets ordered not be available or any substitute tickets not be to your reasonable satisfaction, we ask that you return the tickets to us at your expense. If you have already paid for the substituted tickets or any tickets that are not available (for example, where you have paid by personal cheque), a full refund of the purchase price will be given.
We try to ensure that the prices indicated on the website are up to date and accurate. However, we accept no liability for any errors and omissions and the final price of tickets is the price enacted at the time of us accepting your order. If a ticket has been listed at a lower price by mistake and you have ordered that ticket, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to either reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the tickets, a full refund will be issued.
Ticket refunds and cancellations
Unless stated, tickets are non-refundable.
if an event has been cancelled, refunds will be made automatically. All refunds will be made at the ticket value at the time of booking and processed through our website directly into the bank account used to place the order.
UCD Students’ Union Event Attendee Policy
Drunkenness & excessive intoxication
a. At no point should a person who exhibits drunken behaviour be permitted to enter any Students’ Union licensed event.
b. Any person that is deemed to be over intoxicated on arrival at a licensed premise or event will be refused entry, details of the person will be captured and recorded as a precaution of the license.
c. Any person found to be drunk in Students’ Union licensed events shall be asked to leave, failure to comply will result in them being removed by the security team. Where necessary assistance will be called from the local Gardai to ensure they leave the premise or event. All persons ejected will have their details captured, an incident report filed.
d. Any person that is deemed to be over intoxicated when requesting service at the bar will be refused service, details of the refusal will be recorded as a precaution of the license.
e. Any person that is suspected of purchasing a drink for an individual that has been refused service, will also be refused. Details of the refusal will be recorded as a precaution of the license.
f. Any member of staff on duty may be permitted to ask the security team to remove a drunken person from the premise or event.
g. Any person found to have vomited within a licensed premise or event will be offered immediate welfare support, once completed they will be asked to leave. Their details will be captured, an incident report filed.
Anti-social & threatening behaviour
a. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated within any event or commercial premise. Any person who is seen to exhibit anti-social behaviour will be requested to leave, their details captured, incident report filed. These behaviours are problematic to identify; but would include smoking inside the building, urinating in public, excessively boisterous activity for example.
b. Any member of staff on duty may be permitted to ask the security team to remove an anti-social individual or group from the premise or event.
c. Threatening behaviour will not be tolerated within any event or commercial premise. Any person who is seen to exhibit threatening behaviour will be requested to leave, their details captured, incident report filed.
d. Any member of staff on duty may be permitted to ask the security team to remove a threatening individual or group from the premise or event.
e. Any person who feels they have been the subject of anti-social or threatening behaviour within an event or commercial premise may request the assistance of the security team. The security team will aim to find a resolution and take action as required. Details of all parties will be captured, an incident report filed.
Possession of unauthorised alcohol
a. The consumption, retail or supply of alcohol within all Students Centre premises and events is strictly controlled through the UCD Clubhouse bar licenses.
b. All alcoholic beverages consumed within any event or commercial premise must have been purchased from the specific location and must have been retailed or supplied by the Clubhouse.
c. All alcoholic beverages retailed or supplied by the Clubhouse are done so in compliance with legislation, in specific identified quantities and in approved vessels.
d. To ensure that unauthorised alcohol is not brought into Students’ Union events bag searches will be undertaken. Bag searches will be completed as required by the security team, and any individual found to be carrying their own alcohol into an event or commercial premise will be refused access until the product has been disposed of. Records are maintained as a precaution of the license.
e. Any individual found within an event or commercial premise with unauthorized alcohol will have the product confiscated and be asked to leave, their details will be captured, incident report filed.
Abuse of staff
a. Abuse of any staff member will not be tolerated within any event or commercial premise. Any person who is seen to be abusive directly to a staff member or is reported as having been abusive to a staff member, will be requested to leave, their details captured, incident report filed.
b. Any member of staff on duty may be permitted to ask the security team to remove an abusive individual or group from the premise or event.
Drugs
a. The Students’ Union maintains a Zero Tolerance Policy on the possession or use of any categorized, banned, restricted substance within any event or commercial premise.
b. Security teams employed by the Students’ Union for specific events will perform random searches of all persons wishing to enter any event or commercial premise, and sufficient signage will be present at all entrance/exit points with reference to the above. Any person found with possession of categorized, banned or restricted substances shall have their details captured, and incident report filed. Any substances will be confiscated and passed to the Gardai for destruction.
c. Any individual found in possession of substantial quantities of categorized, banned or restricted substances will be detained by the security team, support will be requested from Estate Services and the Gardai. Their details will be captured, incident report filed.
